Strong, Stronger, Strongest – a familiar phrase- now used in a Team Context- the journey of Fitwell Tools & Forgings Pvt Ltd
It’s not just new strategies or smarter tools. It’s the ability to pause, reflect, and reconnect with purpose. At Born To Win, we’ve had the joy of working with professionals who are already committed, capable, and conscientious. And yet, through our “Winning to Lead” journey, something beautiful unfolds—teams move from functioning to flourishing.
This isn’t a story of fixing what’s broken. It’s a story of discovering what’s possible when people begin to lead from within.

At Fitwel Tools & Forgings Pvt Ltd, the team of Functional Heads—seasoned professionals from Plant, Production, Quality, and Maintenance—came together not to learn something new, but to deepen what they already knew in their hearts.
The “Winning to Lead” process began with a gentle question: What does leadership mean to you—beyond roles, KPIs, and reports?
Over six sessions, these leaders carved out sacred space—not just in their calendars but in their minds. Space to think, breathe, and realign their intentions. Through sessions like “Believe I Can,” “Enhancing We Can,” and “Sustaining I Can,” they explored questions most professionals rarely ask themselves:
• What do I bring to this organization, beyond my skills?
• How do I lead when nobody’s watching?
• Am I responding—or just reacting?
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩? 𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚, 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨. 𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜.
One of the most profound realizations came when a participant shared, “I had never paused to think how much my energy affects my team’s morale.” That awareness alone began a transformation that no handbook or dashboard could ever achieve.

Here’s what emerged—not from us as facilitators, but from the voices of the leaders themselves:
“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘐 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘐 𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘐 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵.” — Rakesh Kumar Shrivastava, Plant Head, Fitwel Tools

Each of these insights wasn’t taught—they were discovered. And discovery, as you know, stays longer than instruction.

What began as individual reflection soon began to shape team culture.
Small but powerful shifts emerged. Meetings became spaces of participation, not just presentation. Teams started using planning tools shared during the “Do I Can” session to set more achievable, motivating goals.
Leaders became listeners. Feedback became two-way. Team members started stepping up—not because they had to, but because they wanted to.
One senior leader summed it up beautifully:
“𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙧, 𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙥𝙪𝙩. 𝙉𝙤𝙬, 𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠.”
That’s the difference between cohesion and collaboration. It’s the difference between “𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧” and “𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧.”
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 “𝗜 𝗖𝗮𝗻, 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮𝗻, 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻”
At Born To Win, our belief is simple: everyone has the capacity to lead with joy, intention, and collaboration.
We don’t turn managers into leaders—we help leaders remember who they really are.
The “I Can” mindset is about discovering inner leadership. “You Can” is about trusting others’ capacity to rise. And “We Can” is where synergy replaces silos, and teams move from good to great.
What we witnessed at Fitwel wasn’t change. It was deepening. Not a reinvention, but a rediscovery.

So here’s a gentle question for you, dear reader:
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘮 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵, 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵?
At Born To Win, we create spaces where capable people become collaborative catalysts—where doing transforms into joyful being. If that sounds like a journey worth exploring, let’s begin a conversation.
